I was given a Bilantan seed feeder and now that I don’t feed the birds in spring, summer & fall what better way to utilize it than with a hummingbird attachment. The hummers don’t rest on the perch, it seems too far away from the nectar hole, the one downside to this feeder.
Enjoy watching the hummers up close without disturbing them.
Easy to set up, easy to connect to wifi, easy to refill, easy to charge. Had for about a month and works fantastic. Had to put cayanne pepper on the outside to keep the raccoons away but everything else great
My mom has two in her yard and I now have one in mine. I love this feeder. Not only can we watch each others bird feeds but the joy it has brought my family has been so wonderful. As you can see I have some…interesting… visitors and have caught some cute moments on camera. I do not mind my “non-bird” friends and they bring me much joy(: The only things I would advise about is that sometimes the clips stop early with no other footage to finish the activity and often I end up with 20 clips from The wind moving things. My moms had some battery problems but the company replaced the feeder no problem. Overall super happy with this purchase, worth every dollar.
I have enjoyed using this feeder for the past few weeks. The hummingbirds love it, and the videos it captures are amazing.
It is really easy to get started and comes with everything you need except the hummingbird nectar.
Pros:
- Easy to set up
- Comes with a good supply of extra parts and cleaning tools
- The feeder is well-designed and comes apart easily for cleaning and refilling
- Camera unit slides in and out with a quick release and a gentle push
- The battery life is amazing. It charges via USB C. I charge it for an hour or two every few days and have yet to see it fall below 70% charged
- The app works well for initial configuration and reviewing and downloading videos. I have not tried the paid subscription, which adds longer cloud storage and automatic bird identification
Cons:
- I'd like longer recording options in the motion detection settings
- I'd like an option to enable or disable the included date and timestamp on the recordings
- I'd love an option to livestream directly from the camera
Overall, there are many more benefits than drawbacks. I'm thrilled to have this feeder on my patio, and the hummingbirds seem to love it too.

How does your motion detection work?
Our smart bird camera is updated with motion detection based on smarter AI. All the motion will be detected then our AI will identify the records and just keep the birds and squirrels record to generate real-time notification on our Bilantan App. It will make you get more exact bird notifications, not huge unrelated spam.
Is the cloud service free?
Cloud is not free except for the first month of use. Cloud & SD card storage are 2 storage ways. we buy space from Amazon Cloud for client storage. You have to pay the space fee as low as USD1.99/month to Amazon Cloud. We don't earn any money from Cloud. Another is Micro SD card storage which can use your own card to save the video locally.
Is the Bird ID service free?
Yes, it is a free service. Of course, the current AI is 1-year free service. But we will share this AI tech soon. Bird recognition will be free to all users. Our APP will be updated in the next few months. You will not be paid any extra money on the AI cost. Our AI will keep learning and updated accordingly.
